They don’t make ‘em like they used to!

Here’s the proof….

Take a moment to compare this Fisher Price 1950s toy vs. this Fisher Price 2020s one.

Wood vs. plastic.

Rich mid-century blues, browns and yellows (with an uplifting pop of orange) vs. garish hot pink and naff acid green.

Massive painted eyes to die for vs. little black plastic dots.

Wooden wheels that roll like magic and turn a rotor to flap those dazzling orange wings vs. big green donuts that make an annoying clicking noise as they roll.

A power product name like QUEEN BUZZY BEE vs. PARADISE PALS PULL-ALONG that could be a flamingo but could also be some sort of anthropomorphic pig character with flat yellow feet stuck inexplicably onto its belly.

I love you Fisher Price for so many reasons but can you bring back some of the toys you made seven decades ago please?

This little Queen Buzzy Bee from 1959 is available on the site now.

Built to last and be loved for hopefully another seven decades to come.
