A first edition / third impression of Pinocchio, The Story of a Puppet.
Published in 1956 by The Heirloom Library in London and illustrated by Hazel Cook.
The Heirloom Library published some wonderful illustrated books in the 1950s and 60s, and this one, translated from C. Collodi's original by Barbara Wall, is one of the best.
It features a handsome red and blue cover, both full-colour and black-and-white illustrations throughout, as well as some awesome endpapers.
We'll let the pics here speak for themselves!
