In 1976 and 1978, Phaidon Press published these extremely beautiful large-format volumes of Japanese woodblock prints.
The first features 106 full-colour reproductions of Japanese prints (1700-1900), and the second 65 reproductions (1800-1950).
All the works are selected and introduced by author and expert in Japanese art, Richard Illing.
These books are both first editions and are in very nice condition. There is some light edge wear to cover and spine, but interior pages are clean and still bright. No pen marks or inscriptions.
