This eleventh issue of the groundbreaking arts and culture magazine Avant Garde is a must-have between any Gustav Klimt or John Lennon fan.

Published in New York in 1970, it features several full-colour spreads exploring the sensual appeal of the symbolist painter Klimt's work, as well as a portfolio of rare erotic lithographs by John Lennon.
Published between 1968 an 1971 by pioneering editor and free speech activist Ralph Ginzburg and the acclaimed graphic designer Herb Lubalin, Avant Garde broke taboos, gave rise to the equally loathed and loved typeface by the same name, and featured some truly era-defining content.
Condition: This magazine has some slight browning to some pages due to age, but is otherwise in excellent  condition.
