Set of two Wonder Books about nature from the 1920s.
Wonder Books were thick and beautifully crafted volumes that were printed in England by Ward Lock & Co, and mostly edited by Harry Golding. They were designed to educate young readers on everything from railways to plant life, and were perhaps best known for their wonderfully illustrated endpapers.
The Wonder Book of Nature.
The Wonder Book of Animals.
All in good antique condition, but all both have names or inscriptions to previous owners, and some rubbing to cover board edges.
