In 1922 the Austin Seven changed the whole concept of motoring by providing a practical form of four-wheeled transport at a price low enough to enable normal people to become car owners.
With a then revolutionary small engine, it quickly become a British design icon. And this book about “Baby Austin”, published almost thirty years after it was decommissioned, has become somewhat of an icon, too.
Now long out of print, it’s a collectable ode to the early automobile, and a car that changed lives and defined industries.
